Ingredients:

  • 8 tablespoons (113g) Unsalted Butter, softened
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced (approx. 2 teaspoons)
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh Parsley, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh Chives, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Smoked Paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes (adjust to taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Dried Thyme
  • 1/4 teaspoon Dried Oregano
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice, fresh
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon Mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon Sea Salt (or to taste)
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper, freshly ground (or to taste)
  • 1/4 teaspoon Onion powder

Instructions:

  1. In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the butter until completely liquid. Do not boil!
  2. Add the minced garlic to the melted butter and sauté for about 1 minute, or until fragrant. Be careful not to burn the garlic.
  3. Remove the saucepan from the heat. Stir in the parsley, chives, smoked paprika, red pepper flakes, garlic powder, thyme, oregano, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Stir in the lemon juice and Dijon mustard until well combined.
  5. Taste the keto cowboy butter and adjust seasonings as needed. Add more salt, pepper, or red pepper flakes to your preference.
  6. Transfer the butter to a serving bowl and serve immediately. Can also be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
