Ingredients:

  • 2 medium ripe avocados (firm!), peeled, pitted, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheet(s) with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
  2. In a large bowl, combine Parmesan cheese, olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Gently toss the avocado slices in the Parmesan mixture, ensuring each slice is lightly coated. Work in batches if necessary.
  4. Spread the avocado slices in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet, making sure they aren't touching.
  5. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the crisps are firm to the touch.
  6. Remove from the oven and let cool completely on the baking sheet. Serve immediately. They will crisp up further as they cool.
