Ingredients:
- 2 medium ripe avocados (firm!), peeled, pitted, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheet(s) with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
- In a large bowl, combine Parmesan cheese, olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Gently toss the avocado slices in the Parmesan mixture, ensuring each slice is lightly coated. Work in batches if necessary.
- Spread the avocado slices in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet, making sure they aren't touching.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the crisps are firm to the touch.
- Remove from the oven and let cool completely on the baking sheet. Serve immediately. They will crisp up further as they cool.
