Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 1/2 cup blue cheese crumbles
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh chives, chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions:

  1. Pour the mayonnaise and buttermilk into your mixing bowl. Whisk vigorously until the mixture is completely smooth and no lumps remain.
  2. Add the minced garlic and fresh lemon juice. Whisk for 30 seconds to ensure the garlic doesn't clump in one spot.
  3. Using a silicone spatula, gently fold in the blue cheese crumbles, chopped chives, and parsley. Stir just until the cheese is incorporated but still in distinct chunks.
  4. Sprinkle in the salt and black pepper.
  5. Stir once more with the spatula to distribute the seasoning.
  6. Transfer the dressing to a glass jar and seal it tight.
  7. Place it in the fridge for at least 30 minutes until the flavors have melded and the texture has thickened.
  8. Give it one quick stir before serving to redistribute any settled buttermilk.
