Ingredients:
- 4 Tbsp Dried Buttermilk Powder
- 3 Tbsp Dried Parsley Flakes
- 1 Tbsp Dried Dill Weed
- 1 Tbsp Dried Chives
- 1 Tbsp Onion Powder
- 1 Tbsp Garlic Powder
- 1 tsp Coarse Kosher Salt
- 1 tsp Black Pepper (Finely Ground)
- 1/2 tsp Dried Thyme (Optional)
Instructions:
- Measure the Dry Ingredients: Carefully measure out all the powdered ingredients—buttermilk powder, onion powder, and garlic powder—and place them into a small mixing bowl. Add the salt, pepper, and optional thyme to the bowl.
- Incorporate the Herbs: Add the larger, flakier herbs: dried parsley, dill weed, and chives, ensuring they are separated and not clumped together.
- Combine Thoroughly: Using a small whisk or fork, gently mix all the ingredients until fully combined. The final product should be a uniform, pale green/yellow mixture speckled with green herbs, with no pockets of pure white powder remaining.
- Storage: Transfer the finished Ranch Seasoning Mix immediately into a clean, airtight glass jar or container. Label the jar with the date.
- Rest and Ready: Allow the seasoning mix to rest for at least 24 hours before use. Store in a cool, dark place (like a pantry) for up to 6 months.
