Ingredients:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup warm water
- 1 cup ground pork
- 1/2 cup finely chopped green onions
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon grated ginger
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- In a bowl, combine flour and salt. Gradually add warm water, stirring until a dough forms. Knead the dough for about 5 minutes until smooth. Cover with a damp cloth and let it rest for 30 minutes.
- In a bowl, mix ground pork, green onions, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Stir until well combined. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
- Divide dough into smaller portions. Roll each portion into a ball. On a floured surface, roll each ball into a thin circle (about 3 inches wide).
- Place a spoonful of filling in the center of each dough circle. Moisten the edges with water. Fold and pinch to seal tightly.
- Place dumplings in a steamer basket lined with parchment paper. Steam for 10-15 minutes until cooked through, or pan-fry by adding water and cooking until the water evaporates.
