Ingredients:

  • 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce (optional)
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 2 (14.5 ounce) cans cut green beans, drained
  • 1⅓ cups canned fried onions, divided

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine cream of mushroom soup, milk, soy sauce (if using), and pepper. Mix well.
  3. Gently fold in the drained green beans and about ⅔ of the fried onions, reserving the rest.
  4. Pour the mixture into a baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until bubbly and heated through.
  6. Sprinkle the remaining fried onions over the casserole.
  7. Return to the oven and bake for another 5 minutes, or until the onions are golden brown and crispy. The easy green bean casserole is almost ready!
  8. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
