Ingredients:

  • 64 oz dark purple grape juice, 100% juice (chilled)
  • 2 cups pineapple juice
  • 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 1 liter ginger ale (chilled)
  • 25.4 oz sparkling grape juice (chilled)
  • 2 cups frozen dark red grapes
  • 1 fresh lime, thinly sliced
  • Fresh mint sprigs

Instructions:

  1. In a large punch bowl (at least 6-quart capacity), combine the chilled dark purple grape juice, pineapple juice, and fresh lime juice. Stir gently until well integrated.
  2. Just before serving, slowly pour the chilled ginger ale and sparkling grape juice down the side of the bowl to maintain maximum carbonation.
  3. Using a long-handled spoon, give the mixture one or two very slow folds from the bottom. Avoid over-stirring to prevent the punch from going flat.
  4. Add the frozen dark red grapes directly into the bowl. These act as ice substitutes to keep the punch cold without watering down the flavor.
  5. Float the fresh lime slices on the surface and tuck in fresh mint sprigs for aromatics. Serve immediately in chilled glasses.
