Ingredients:
- 1 lb (450g) Fresh broccoli florets, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 tbsp (30ml) Extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 tsp (3g) Fine sea salt
- 1/4 tsp (1g) Cracked black pepper
- 3 cloves (9g) Garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup (25g) Freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tbsp (15ml) Fresh lemon juice
- 1 tsp (2g) Lemon zest
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 400 degrees. Ensure broccoli florets are completely dry after washing and cut into uniform sizes.
- In a large bowl, toss the florets with olive oil, salt, pepper, and minced garlic until evenly coated. Transfer to a prepared baking sheet, spreading them out so no two pieces are touching.
- Roast in the center rack for 15–20 minutes until the edges are deep mahogany brown and the stems are tender when pierced with a fork.
- Remove from the oven and immediately sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and drizzle with fresh lemon juice and zest.
