Ingredients:

  • 1 lb (450g) Fresh broccoli florets, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tbsp (30ml) Extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp (3g) Fine sea salt
  • 1/4 tsp (1g) Cracked black pepper
  • 3 cloves (9g) Garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup (25g) Freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp (15ml) Fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp (2g) Lemon zest

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees. Ensure broccoli florets are completely dry after washing and cut into uniform sizes.
  2. In a large bowl, toss the florets with olive oil, salt, pepper, and minced garlic until evenly coated. Transfer to a prepared baking sheet, spreading them out so no two pieces are touching.
  3. Roast in the center rack for 15–20 minutes until the edges are deep mahogany brown and the stems are tender when pierced with a fork.
  4. Remove from the oven and immediately sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and drizzle with fresh lemon juice and zest.
