Ingredients:

  • 4 cups (600g) fresh blueberries
  • 2 cups (480ml) filtered water
  • 1 tbsp (15ml) fresh lemon juice
  • 1.5 tbsp (22.5g) raw honey
  • 1/4 tsp (1.25g) sea salt

Instructions:

  1. Rinse the blueberries thoroughly under cold running water and remove any stems or shriveled berries.
  2. Combine the blueberries and water in a saucepan over medium heat and bring to a gentle simmer for 5–8 minutes until the berries burst.
  3. Carefully pour the hot berry mixture into a blender, add the lemon juice, raw honey, and sea salt, and blend on high for 30 seconds until homogenized.
  4. Pour the blended liquid through a fine-mesh strainer or nut milk bag into a pitcher, using a spoon to press down on the solids to extract all the juice.
