Ingredients:

  • 1 (15.25 oz) box of cake mix (preferably vanilla or chocolate) (425 g)
  • 1 cup Cool Whip (240 mL)
  • 1 large egg (50 g)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (5 mL)
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar (60 g)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, Cool Whip, egg, and vanilla extract. Stir until well incorporated; the dough will be thick and sticky.
  4. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and chill the dough in the refrigerator for 20 minutes.
  5. Using a cookie scoop or tablespoon, drop rounded balls of dough into the powdered sugar. Roll to coat completely, then place them on the prepared baking sheet, spacing 2 inches apart.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until edges are set and tops are slightly cracked.
  7. Remove cookies from the oven and cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
