- 1 teaspoon baking powder

- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 1 cup (240ml) buttermilk
- 1 large egg
- 2 tablespoons (30g) unsalted butter, melted
Instructions:
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk together buttermilk, egg, and melted butter.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients gently until just mixed; small lumps are acceptable.
- Preheat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat. Lightly grease with butter.
- Pour about ¼ cup of batter on the skillet for each pancake.
- Cook until bubbles form and edges appear set (about 1-2 minutes). Flip the pancakes and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until golden brown.
- Repeat with the remaining batter, greasing the pan as needed.
- Stack pancakes and serve warm with your favorite toppings.
