Ingredients:
- 3 Cups (750ml, 1 bottle) Blanco/Silver Tequila
- 2 Cups (475ml) Fresh Lime Juice
- 1 Cup (240ml) Agave Nectar or Simple Syrup
- 1/2 Cup (120ml) Orange Liqueur (Triple Sec or Cointreau)
- 1 Cup (240ml) Water (for pre-dilution)
- Kosher Salt or Flaked Sea Salt (for rimming)
Instructions:
- Combine the Tequila, Fresh Lime Juice, Agave Nectar (or Simple Syrup), Orange Liqueur, and Water in a very large pitcher or suitable container.
- Stir the mixture vigorously until the sweetener is completely dissolved and integrated.
- Chill the margarita mixture in the refrigerator for a minimum of 4 hours, or until 'screaming cold'. Do not add ice to the pitcher at this stage (use the 'Ice on Demand' method).
- To prepare the glasses, rub the rim of each serving glass with a lime wedge and dip into a shallow plate of Kosher salt or flaked sea salt.
- Fill the prepared glasses with fresh, clean ice and pour the chilled margarita concentrate over the ice immediately before serving.
