Ingredients:

  • 3 Cups (750ml, 1 bottle) Blanco/Silver Tequila
  • 2 Cups (475ml) Fresh Lime Juice
  • 1 Cup (240ml) Agave Nectar or Simple Syrup
  • 1/2 Cup (120ml) Orange Liqueur (Triple Sec or Cointreau)
  • 1 Cup (240ml) Water (for pre-dilution)
  • Kosher Salt or Flaked Sea Salt (for rimming)

Instructions:

  1. Combine the Tequila, Fresh Lime Juice, Agave Nectar (or Simple Syrup), Orange Liqueur, and Water in a very large pitcher or suitable container.
  2. Stir the mixture vigorously until the sweetener is completely dissolved and integrated.
  3. Chill the margarita mixture in the refrigerator for a minimum of 4 hours, or until 'screaming cold'. Do not add ice to the pitcher at this stage (use the 'Ice on Demand' method).
  4. To prepare the glasses, rub the rim of each serving glass with a lime wedge and dip into a shallow plate of Kosher salt or flaked sea salt.
  5. Fill the prepared glasses with fresh, clean ice and pour the chilled margarita concentrate over the ice immediately before serving.
