Ingredients:

  • 2 cups cooked chicken breast, cubed or shredded (approx. 300g)
  • 1.5 cups frozen mixed vegetables (approx. 250g)
  • 10.5 oz cream of chicken soup (1 can)
  • 0.5 tsp onion powder
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup Bisquick Hearty Helper Mix (120g)
  • 0.5 cup whole milk
  • 1 large egg

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a 9-inch glass pie plate or cast-iron skillet, combine the cooked chicken, frozen vegetables, cream of chicken soup, onion powder, and black pepper. Stir directly in the dish until evenly coated and spread into a flat layer.
  3. In a separate small mixing bowl, whisk together the Bisquick mix, milk, and egg until the large lumps disappear.
  4. Pour the Bisquick batter evenly over the chicken filling. Do not stir the layers.
  5. Bake in the center of the oven for 30 minutes, or until the topping is deep golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the crust comes out clean.
