Ingredients:
- 2 cups cooked chicken breast, cubed or shredded (approx. 300g)
- 1.5 cups frozen mixed vegetables (approx. 250g)
- 10.5 oz cream of chicken soup (1 can)
- 0.5 tsp onion powder
- 0.25 tsp black pepper
- 1 cup Bisquick Hearty Helper Mix (120g)
- 0.5 cup whole milk
- 1 large egg
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a 9-inch glass pie plate or cast-iron skillet, combine the cooked chicken, frozen vegetables, cream of chicken soup, onion powder, and black pepper. Stir directly in the dish until evenly coated and spread into a flat layer.
- In a separate small mixing bowl, whisk together the Bisquick mix, milk, and egg until the large lumps disappear.
- Pour the Bisquick batter evenly over the chicken filling. Do not stir the layers.
- Bake in the center of the oven for 30 minutes, or until the topping is deep golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the crust comes out clean.
