Ingredients:
- 2 cans (8 oz each) refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare the baking dish: Grease the 9x13 inch baking dish with cooking spray or butter.
- Create the dough layer: Unroll the crescent roll dough and press half into the bottom of the baking dish.
- Make the filling: In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
- Add the filling: Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the dough in the baking dish.
- Top with remaining dough: Unroll the second can of crescent roll dough and layer it over the cream cheese filling.
- Mix the topping: In a small bowl, combine sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle the mixture over the top dough layer.
- Bake: Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
- Cool and slice: Allow to cool for at least 10 minutes before slicing into bars.
