- 3 tablespoons (45ml) olive oil
- ½ teaspoon (2g) salt
- ½ teaspoon (2g) black pepper
- ½ cup (50g) grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon (5g) garlic powder
- Zest of 1 lemon (optional, for brightness)
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Prepare the baking sheet: Line it with parchment paper for easy cleanup (optional).
- In a mixing bowl, combine green beans, olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Toss to coat.
- Spread the coated green beans evenly on the baking sheet.
- Roast in the oven for 15 minutes, stirring halfway through, until they start to brown.
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle roasted beans with grated Parmesan.
- Return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and golden.
- Remove from the oven, zest with lemon (if using), and serve immediately.
