Ingredients:
- 1 pound (450g) asparagus, trimmed
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) olive oil
- ½ teaspoon (2.5 ml) garlic powder
- ¼ teaspoon (1.25 ml) salt
- ¼ teaspoon (1.25 ml) black pepper
- Lemon wedges, for serving (optional)
Instructions:
- Wash and trim the tough ends of the asparagus spears.
- Place the asparagus in a mixing bowl. Drizzle with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Toss to coat evenly.
- Arrange the asparagus in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
- Air fry at 400°F (200°C) for 8-10 minutes, or until the asparagus is tender-crisp and lightly browned. Check halfway through and shake the basket for even cooking.
- Serve immediately with lemon wedges (optional).
