Ingredients:

  • 1 pound (450g) asparagus, trimmed
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon (2.5 ml) garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon (1.25 ml) salt
  • ¼ teaspoon (1.25 ml) black pepper
  • Lemon wedges, for serving (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Wash and trim the tough ends of the asparagus spears.
  2. Place the asparagus in a mixing bowl. Drizzle with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Toss to coat evenly.
  3. Arrange the asparagus in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  4. Air fry at 400°F (200°C) for 8-10 minutes, or until the asparagus is tender-crisp and lightly browned. Check halfway through and shake the basket for even cooking.
  5. Serve immediately with lemon wedges (optional).
