Ingredients:
- 1 package (3.4 oz / 96g) instant vanilla pudding mix
- 2 cups (480ml) cold whole milk
- 1 can (14 oz / 397g) sweetened condensed milk
- 1 container (8 oz / 225g) whipped topping
- 1 box (11 oz / 312g) vanilla wafer cookies
- 1 lb (450g) ripe bananas, sliced into rounds
Instructions:
- Combine the instant pudding mix and cold milk in a large bowl. Beat on medium speed for 2 minutes until the mixture begins to thicken.
- Fold in the sweetened condensed milk using a spatula until the color is uniform and the texture is silky.
- Spread a thin layer of the pudding mixture across the bottom of a 9x13 inch glass baking dish to anchor the cookies.
- Arrange a single layer of vanilla wafers, followed by a tight row of banana slices. Repeat the process—pudding, wafers, bananas—until all ingredients are utilized, ending with a smooth layer of pudding on top.
- Cover the dish tightly with plastic wrap, pressing it directly onto the surface of the pudding, and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
- Just before serving, dollop the whipped topping over the chilled pudding, smooth it with a spatula, and garnish with remaining banana slices or crushed vanilla wafers.
