Ingredients:

  • cups Old Fashioned Rolled Oats
  • cup Raw Mixed Nuts (e.g., pecans, almonds), roughly chopped
  • /2 cup Raw Seeds (e.g., pumpkin, sunflower)
  • teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
  • /2 teaspoon Fine Sea Salt
  • /2 cup Pure Maple Syrup
  • /4 cup Melted Coconut Oil
  • teaspoon Pure Vanilla Extract
  • cup Dried Fruit (e.g., raisins, cranberries), added after baking

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, thoroughly mix the oats, nuts, seeds, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. In a separate small bowl, whisk together the melted oil, maple syrup, and vanilla extract until well emulsified.
  4. Pour the wet mixture over the dry ingredients and use a spatula to fold and toss until every oat flake is lightly coated.
  5. Spread the mixture evenly onto the prepared baking sheet. For best clusters, press the mixture down firmly with the back of the spatula.
  6. Bake for 20 minutes.
  7. Remove from the oven. Gently turn half of the mixture over with a spatula, leaving the other half undisturbed to promote clustering. Return to the oven.
  8. Bake for another 10–15 minutes, checking often, until the edges are golden brown.
  9. Remove from the oven and let it sit completely undisturbed on the hot tray for at least 30 minutes to cool and set the crunch.
  10. Once fully cooled and crunchy, break any large chunks apart and gently fold in the dried fruit.
  11. Transfer the finished Homemade Granola to an airtight container for storage.
