Ingredients:
- 1 cup (240g) creamy unsweetened peanut butter
- 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon (5g) vanilla extract
- ½ teaspoon (3g) baking soda
- ¼ teaspoon (1g) salt
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Combine peanut butter, sugar, egg, vanilla extract, baking soda, and salt in a mixing bowl and mix until smooth.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them 2 inches apart.
- Flatten each ball slightly with a fork to create a crisscross pattern.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes until the edges are set and the tops are slightly golden.
- Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
