Ingredients:
- 8 oz block full-fat cream cheese, softened to room temperature
- 1 cup plain Greek yogurt (full-fat or 2%)
- 1/4 cup good quality, light-coloured honey
- 1 teaspoon orange zest (from 1 medium orange)
- 1/2 teaspoon lemon zest (from 1/2 a lemon)
- 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed orange juice
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- A tiny pinch of salt
- 2 tablespoons chopped pistachios (for garnish)
- Extra orange zest (for dusting)
Instructions:
- Ensure the cream cheese is thoroughly softened. Place the softened cream cheese into the mixing bowl.
- Using the hand mixer or whisk vigorously, beat the cream cheese until it is completely smooth and lightened, about 2 minutes. Scrape down the sides of the bowl halfway through.
- Add the Greek yogurt, honey, orange juice, and vanilla extract to the cream cheese mixture. Beat on medium speed until just combined and smooth. Do not overmix once the yogurt is added.
- Gently fold in the orange zest, lemon zest, and the pinch of salt using a rubber spatula. This prevents deflating the airy texture achieved in the previous step.
- Cover the bowl with cling film and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes. This firms the dip slightly, making it perfect for dipping.
- Transfer the chilled dip to a serving bowl. Sprinkle the top evenly with chopped pistachios and a final dusting of fresh orange zest just before serving alongside fresh fruit.
