Ingredients:

  • 1 medium fresh apple (e.g., Honeycrisp, Gala)
  • 2 tablespoons almond butter (smooth or crunchy)
  • 85 grams high-fiber chocolate granola
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Pinch of sea salt

Instructions:

  1. Core the apple and slice it into 8 to 10 uniform wedges or thick 'fries'.
  2. Measure out the almond butter and, using a small spatula or knife, spread the almond butter evenly onto the flat surface of each apple wedge, ensuring a sticky, cohesive layer.
  3. Pour the chocolate granola onto a clean plate or shallow dish.
  4. Press the almond-butter-coated side of the apple wedges firmly into the granola until fully coated. Gently shake off any excess.
  5. Transfer the prepared wedges to a serving platter. Sprinkle lightly with ground cinnamon and a pinch of sea salt, if desired, before serving immediately for maximum crispness.
