Ingredients:
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup whole milk
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon vanilla bean paste (optional)
- Optional toppings (e.g., chocolate sauce, sprinkles, or fresh berries)
Instructions:
- In a mixing bowl, combine heavy cream, whole milk, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and vanilla bean paste. Whisk until the sugar dissolves.
- Put on safety goggles and gloves to handle liquid nitrogen safely. Place the ice cream base mixture into a stand mixer bowl or a large bowl.
- Slowly pour liquid nitrogen into the bowl while whisking continuously until the mixture thickens and freezes.
- Continue adding liquid nitrogen until the ice cream reaches a creamy texture, approximately 2 minutes, scraping sides as needed.
- Use an ice cream scoop to serve the freshly made ice cream and add optional toppings if desired.
