Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons paprika

  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano
  • 1 tablespoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper

  • 1 teaspoon white pepper
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt

Instructions:

  1. Carefully measure all spices and herbs into the small bowl.
  2. Whisk (or stir with a fork) the ingredients together until thoroughly combined and evenly distributed. Break up any clumps.
  3. Transfer the blackened seasoning to an airtight container. Store in a cool, dark place for up to 6 months.
  4. Generously rub or sprinkle the seasoning onto your protein or vegetables before cooking.
