Ingredients:

  • 1 cup (240ml) mixed frozen berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries)
  • 1/2 cup (120ml) plain Greek yogurt (0% or 2%, your choice)
  • 1/2 cup (120ml) milk (dairy or non-dairy, e.g., almond, soy, oat)
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds (for added fiber and omega-3s)
  • 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup (optional, for added sweetness)
  • 1/4 cup (60ml) water, add more if needed for desired consistency
  • 1 scoop (30g) protein powder (whey, soy, or plant-based) (optional)

Instructions:

  1. If using fresh berries, wash and hull strawberries.
  2. Add all ingredients (frozen berries, Greek yogurt, milk, chia seeds, honey/maple syrup (if using), water, and optional protein powder) to the blender.
  3. Blend on high speed until smooth and creamy. Add more water, 1 tablespoon at a time, if needed to achieve desired consistency.
  4. Taste the smoothie and adjust sweetness (add more honey/maple syrup) or liquid (add more water) as needed.
  5. Pour into a glass and enjoy immediately!
