Ingredients:
- 4 cups of day-old bread, cubed (about 200g)
- 3 tablespoons of olive oil (45ml)
- 1 teaspoon of garlic powder (5g)
- 1 teaspoon of dried Italian herbs (5g)
- ½ teaspoon of salt (3g)
- ¼ teaspoon of black pepper (1g)
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cut the day-old bread into uniform cubes (about 1-inch).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, dried herbs, salt, and pepper. Add the bread cubes to the bowl and toss until evenly coated.
- Spread the seasoned bread cubes in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper (optional). Bake for 10-15 minutes, tossing halfway, until golden brown and crunchy.
- Remove from oven and let cool slightly before using. Store any leftovers in an airtight container.
