Ingredients:
- 2 (4-6 ounce) salmon fillets, skin on or off (approx. 113-170g each)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil (15 ml)
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (2.5 ml)
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika (1.25 ml)
- 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme (1.25 ml)
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice, freshly squeezed (15 ml)
- Fresh parsley, chopped (optional garnish)
- Lemon wedges (optional garnish)
Instructions:
- Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. This helps achieve crispy skin (if using skin-on fillets).
- In a small bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Brush or rub the seasoning mixture evenly over both sides of the salmon fillets.
- Preheat the air fryer (if necessary). Check your manufacturer's instructions.
- Place the salmon fillets in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are not overlapping. Cook for 8-10 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C) and the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
- Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the cooked salmon.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
