Ingredients:

  • 2 (4-6 ounce) salmon fillets, skin on or off (approx. 113-170g each)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (15 ml)
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (2.5 ml)
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika (1.25 ml)
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme (1.25 ml)
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice, freshly squeezed (15 ml)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional garnish)
  • Lemon wedges (optional garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. This helps achieve crispy skin (if using skin-on fillets).
  2. In a small bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  3. Brush or rub the seasoning mixture evenly over both sides of the salmon fillets.
  4. Preheat the air fryer (if necessary). Check your manufacturer's instructions.
  5. Place the salmon fillets in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are not overlapping. Cook for 8-10 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C) and the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the cooked salmon.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
