Ingredients:
- 1 large bunch Curly Kale (approx. 9 oz), stems removed and torn into 2-inch pieces
- 1 tbsp Avocado Oil
- 1/2 tsp Fine Sea Salt
- 2 tbsp Nutritional Yeast
- 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1/4 tsp Smoked Paprika
Instructions:
- Strip the kale leaves away from the thick, woody ribs and discard the ribs. Tear the leaves into uniform 2-inch pieces.
- Wash kale leaves thoroughly in cold water. Use a salad spinner to remove 100% of the moisture, then pat further with paper towels until bone-dry.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the dry kale, avocado oil, sea salt, nutritional yeast, garlic powder, and smoked paprika.
- Massage the kale by hand for approximately 30 seconds to break down the cellulose walls and ensure every crevice is coated in a microscopic layer of oil and seasoning.
- Arrange the kale in the air fryer basket. Air fry at 300°F (150°C) for 5 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the edges are crisp and the texture is fragile.
