Ingredients:
- 3 Tablespoons Dried Greek Oregano
- 2 Teaspoons Dried Thyme
- 1 Teaspoon Dried Rosemary
- 1 Teaspoon Dried Basil
- 1 Teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 1/2 Teaspoon Onion Powder
- 1/2 Teaspoon Black Pepper, freshly ground
- 1/2 Teaspoon Fine Sea Salt
- 1/4 Teaspoon Dried Lemon Zest
Instructions:
- Measure out all dried herbs (Oregano, Thyme, Rosemary, Basil, Garlic Powder, Onion Powder, Pepper, Salt, and Lemon Zest, if using) precisely into your mixing bowl or storage jar.
- Use a small whisk or fork to thoroughly combine all the measured spices until they are evenly distributed throughout the mix. Ensure no pockets of single herbs remain.
- Rub a small pinch of the blend between your palms to release the essential oils and check the fragrance (Optional Aroma Test).
- Transfer the seasoning blend to an airtight container. Allow the blend to 'marry' for at least 24 hours before heavy use for the best flavour integration.
